LI SHUJIAN (Cheng Ying) is a nationally ranked First-Level performing artist. First Chinese Opera Singer play leading show both in Broadway theater (Stuido 54, New York) and Dolby Theater (Hollywood). Mr. Li began his training at the National Academy of Chinese Theatre Arts, where he specialized in the Laosheng style of singing. Over the years, Mr. Li has perfected his craft, earning him numerous accolades and honors for stunning performance in past productions of Qing Feng Ting Shang and Sheppard Su Wu. He has been the recipient of many prestigious awards, including three National Wenhua Performance Awards and two Chinese Opera Plum Blossom Awards. Mr. Li possess an incredibly versatile vocal range, which is characterized by his effortless ability to both soar in the upper register and sustain a full lower range. Mr. Li utilizes the Qipai style of performance, allowing him to use his voice to its full physical and emotional potential. His soulful performance as Cheng Ying in Cheng Ying Rescues the Orphan was lauded by audiences across the nation and critics have dubbed him "The number one Laosheng currently in existence." Mr. Li is also actively involved in the Chinese Opera community and holds the title of Vice-Chairman of China's Theatre Association, is the Chairman of Henan Theatre Association, Alternate Member of Henan Provincial Party Committee and the Head of Henan No. 2 Yu Opera Troupe. He is honored to be a part of the wonderful cast of Cheng Ying Rescues the Orphan and is excited about bringing this production overseas for new audiences to enjoy.

MAGI AVILA. Actress, Host 
Magi Avila co-stars Bruce Willis in recently released feature “First Kill”. She co-stars opposite Nicholas Cage and Willem Dafoe in Paul Schrader's "Dog Eat Dog". Sheappeared in Woody Allen’s “Café Society” and next to Oscar nominee Demian Bichir in Chris Weitz' "A Better Life". Avila captured the U.S. audience with "Fantasias" a film by Jorge Araujo distributed by Universal Pictures. Magi Avila guest-starred on "Training Day" with Will Paxton and "The Shield", with Michael Chiklis. Magi is in over 30 films.She is the producer, co-writer and costume designer of her one-woman-show, biography of Hollywood's star Carmen Miranda. Magi performed in several theater plays, in the US and Mexico. 
Magi initiated her career during teenage years singing opera, for then president of Mexico Ernesto Cedillo. She did modeling jobs, print ads and television commercials. She was News Host for Televisa
Mark Justice, Actor, Host
Mark Justice is an American actor originating from McDermott, OH. Mark began theatre at a very young age, but as he grew older became more involved with sports. Wanting to continue his education, he took the opportunity to compete in both Soccer, Basketball, and even Baseball while attending college at Ohio Christian University. 
After college, Mark found his way to Las Vegas, and rekindled what began at a young age when he connected with Gerald Gordon, former acting coach of Adrien Brody, Bruce McGill, and Joe Flanigan, soon finding his way into the lead role of Tony Nunzio Jr. in Tony ‘N Tina’s Wedding. During his tenure there, Mark crossed over into the film world where his career really excelled. Since, he’s worked with award winning and nominated filmmakers, from on screen to behind the camera, here in the United States and internationally. Although he has the chops and looks of the leading man, Mark thoroughly enjoys character roles and bit parts just as much.

  Meiling Hu
Ms. Hu is a famous Yu Opera artist, Chinese National Class-B Performer; qualified for the Chinese State Council special allowance. She started learning Yu Opera since 1957 and performed on stage the next year. Ms. Hu was the private student of Madam Chang Xiangyu, the most famous master of Yu Opera. Ms. Hu is an outstanding descendant and the No. 1 Lady Role performer of Yu Opera.
Ms. Hu was the Director of Zhengzhou Yu Opera Theatre, Manager of the Chinese Drama Association, and won the "Plum Blossom Award" of the Chinese Drama, the NationalLabor Medal, the National Model Worker, and the State Council awarded her with the title of "National Excellent Artist". She is the inheritor of the national and provincial intangible cultural heritage (Yu Opera); starring in the traditional Chinese opera film "The Lore on Execution Ground", and won the “Best Musical Film Award" at the Universe Multicultural Film Festival

  Guowang Wang, Leader of Huaxian county Big String Opera Theatre
Representative inheritor of National Intangible Cultural Heritage Project, leader of Huaxian county Big String Opera Theatre. Mr. Wang is a member of Henan Province Drama Arts Organization. He focused on Aging Role in Big String Opera, starring as Yi Luo in “Fire Dragon Maze”, as Jiye Yang in “General Yang Pick Soldiers”, etc. Mr. Wang took Huaxian county Big String Opera Theatre to different areas performed more than 500 times each year, his great efforts helped raising the fame of Big String Opera nationwide.
 
   Feiyun Song, Leading Actor
Representative inheritor of National Intangible Cultural Heritage Project, Youth leader of Huaxian county Big String Opera Theatre. He focused on Youth Role in Big String Opera, starring as Gang Xue in “Gang Xue against the Tang Dynasty”, as QilangYang in “Qilang Yang on a battle”, etc. His performance is very vivid, perfectly expressed different characteristics of each role, called by the audience as “No. 1 Youth Performer in Big String Opera”.
 
Dongliang Shi, Leading Actor
Representative inheritor of National Intangible Cultural Heritage Project, vice leader of Huaxian county Big String Opera Theatre. Mr. Shi focused on Military Role in Big String Opera, starring as Cheng Luo in “Fire Dragon Maze”, as Yanzhao Yang in “General Yang Pick Soldiers

  TIANYIN ZHANG, LEADER OF TAIKANG DAOQING ART CENTER.
Tianyin Zhang, National Class-B Performer, member of China Theatre Association. Taikai Daoqing Opera provincial Intangible cultural heritage inheritor. In charge of Taikang Daoqing Art Protection Heritage Center since 2012.Mr.Zhang earned the title of “Model of Character and Art” in 2016, the show he directed in 2017 called “Dun Wang” won the first-class prize and best organizer prize of Henan Opera Exhibition. In 2018, Mr.Zhang was honored with the title of“National Model of Dedication”
To protect and develop Daoqing opera genre, Mr.Zhang has been discovering traditional Daoqing  Opera plays and performing style, finding experienced local Daoqing Opera performers to record and organize exist plays as soon as possible. With his precious efforts, he rescued lots of dying plays from oral descriptions to the stage. Each performance they did in the past was welcomed by audiences. Mr.Zhang has been learning history from retired artists; by this process, he has collected a big amount of g knowledge and information 
 
  FENXIA LIU, LEADING ACTRESS
Ms. Liu is the Vice Director of Taikang Daoqing Art Protection Heritage Center, National Class-B Performer, member of China Theatre Association.
Winner of Galaxy Award (for amateur artists and community culture) for two times.Ms.Liu has performed in China National Centre of Performing Arts for 2018 Spring Festival Opera Gala, honored by General Secretary Xi Jinping.
 
  YANLING LI, LEADING ACTRESS
Ms. Li is the Vice Director of Taikang Daoqing Art Protection Heritage Center, National Class-B Performer, member of China Theatre Association, Taikai Daoqing Opera provincial Intangible cultural heritage inheritor. She is from a traditional opera family and she is the pro-disciple of Yu Opera expert SujunWang. During her study at Taikang Daoqing Opera School, she studied very hard by observing more, listening more, learning more, asking more and practicing more. All these efforts benefit her with improvementsin her performance. In 1986, with her outstanding results in Daoqing Opera performance, Ms.Li became a professional performer of Taikang Daoqing  Art Protection Heritage Center.  
 
Yumei Zhang, Leading Actress of Daoqing Opera
Ms. Zhang is an experienced Daoqing Opera actress and a member of the China Theatre Association. As a talented candidate, she was accepted by Taikang Daoqing Opera school in 1987 and started her professional career in TaikangDaoqing Art Protection Heritage Center since 1989.
Her famous roles on the stage include Ms.Liu in “Jindou Wang Borrow Rice”, Baochuan in “Baochuan Wang”, Xiuluan in “Red Dust”, Yunu in “Hilarious Marriage Night”, Yulian in “Sister Queens” series 1-4.
Ms. Zhang earned the title of “Queen of Daoqing Opera” in Zhoukou Opera Performance Competition in 2000, she won the first prize of 4th Opera Competition by performing as Baochuan of “Baochuan Wang.” In 2006, as Xiuluan yin “Red Dust”, she won the 2nd prize of Henan Province Art Groups Opera Competition.
   Siping Tune Opera Team   
  Mei Fu, Leader of Henan Shangqiu Siping Tune Art Research Center
Representative inheritor of Henan Intangible Cultural Heritage Project, National Class-B Performer, representative of the 5th People's Congress of Shangqiu City, director of Henan ShangqiuSiping Tune Art Research Center. In 1988, she was accepted by Henan Opera School and started her professional opera career, focusing on Tsing Yi and Guimen Dan. In 1991, she was assigned to work in Siping Tune Theatre. In 2002, she bravely provoked the responsibility of revitalizing Siping Tune Opera and won many awards. She also won the top honor of Yu Opera genre, "Xiangyu Cup".
In the past three years, she led the team to perform three times in Beijingandperformed twice in Meilanfang Grand Theatre, the best Peking Opera theatre in Beijing. Once performed at the Tsinghua University for“Drama into the Campus” performance. Ms.Fu introduced the source, artistic style, characteristics of the opera, and the characteristics of the singing to the students. Her performance with Xiaorong Bai of the representative drama "Xiao Bao Gong", which was highly praised by experts and Tsinghua students.
 
 Fengrong Shao, Leading Actress
Representative inheritor of Shangqiu Intangible Cultural Heritage Project, selected by ShangqiuDazhong Theatre in 1988 and transferred to Shangqiu Yu Opera Theatre in 1997. In 2002, she was accepted by Siping Tune perform artist Jinrong Bai as a private student. In 2004, she was selected by ShangqiuSiping Tune Theatre.Her unique singing style and sincere performance skills have been spoken highly of by the professionals and audiences.
 
Yan Meng,Leading Actress
Outstanding Siping Tune Opera youth artist in Shangqiu.Ms.Mengis the district representative inheritor of Siping Tune Opera. She starred in "The In-Laws" as Yingying and won the Silver Award in the "Yellow River Cup" Drama Competition in Henan Province. In 2015, she won the “the Best Works Award” in Shangqiu City.
  Jing Yang, Leading Actor
Outstanding Siping Tune Opera artist of Henan ShangqiuSiping Tune Art Research Center, private student of famous Yu Opera master DecaoNiu, focused on comedic role. Mr. Yang won the Silver Award in Henan Opera Competition, won Golden Award in the 5th"Yellow River Cup" Drama Competition in Henan Province.

Jingpeng Sun, Leading Monkey King Actor
Mr. Sun was from an Opera family and has been training by his father, Wensheng Sun, since childhood. He’s focused on Kungfu Role, more specifically on Monkey King Performance. After he was selected by theNational Academy of Chinese Theatre Arts, he started learning from opera master Siquan Zhang.He wonFirst Prize of the 7th Youth Drama Competition in Henan Province;Gold Award of the 7th Hongmei Cup Competition in Henan Province;Gold Award of China's first Yellow River BasinHongmei Competition; Silver Awardof Henan TV stationChina Yu Opera Competition. He has visited the United States of America, Africa, Germany, the Netherlands, Britain, Russia, and Kazakhstan for cultural exchange performanceon behalf of Chinese opera.Mr. Sun was highly praised and earned thetitle of “the Central China Monkey King.”

  Yifei Ren, Leading Child Actress
Yifei started learning opera performing since 3-year-old. After being trained for three years, she participated in opera competition on the television in 2016, and won the title of “Little Warrior”. In 2017, she won the Golden Award of “Colorful Dream – Teenager Talent Competition”, and also joined the TV program “Let’s Go Together” as a special guest. She won the silver award of “Little Plum Flower – Teenager Opera Competition”. Since 2017, Yifei was invited to perform every year on the stage of Spring Festival Gala of HNTV. And she’s the record keeper of HNTV Opera Competition.
